The cafe is located on the first floor of the 'KT Bridge Lab Daejeon Center' in Gung-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, which opened recently. The cafe is designed to be a co-working space where entrepreneurs can gather to share ideas and collaborate.

Unlike a cafe or an office, My Workspace Cafe can be used by anyone who would like more information on starting a company or by startup entrepreneurs or university students. Users can purchase monthly, weekly, or daily passes, and any tenant of a My Workspace branch can use the facility free of charge. Additionally, the space offers high-speed Wi-Fi, a printer, and a snack bar as an added benefit for all visitors.

Startup parks consist of private entities that form consortiums with regional governmental organizations. These consortiums are selected and then supported by the national government. This system was first pioneered in Songdo, Incheon in 2020 and expanded to Daejeon and Cheonan in 2021. In particular, Daejeon plans to create a large-scale startup park, called D-Bridge, located between KAIST and Chungnam National University in the Gung-dong area. The goal is to create a "Korean Silicon Valley" by 2024.

Daejeon Startup is planned to be the largest startup town in the country with a total investment of KRW 37.2 billion. My Workspace Cafe is part of a new startup ecosystem being created outside the Seoul region. Unlike other shared office brands that concentrate on branch openings in the capital region, My Workspace is securing office spaces in government-supported startup ecosystems. For example, in 2021, they opened a startup center in Seoul's Gwanak S-Valley in partnership with KT and KEB Hana Bank.

Yang Hee-Yeong, the deputy director of My Workspace, said, "I feel honored to be able to contribute to a new startup ecosystem for geographically balanced economic development. Since last year, we have been designing and operating office spaces for startup accelerators supported by larger conglomerates that hope to promote growth and investment in startups.
